Abstract :
This paper proposes a method, in a development project, that detects delays of tasks by estimating the project schedule with situation and progress speed of development members. In a development project, it is difficult for a project manager to reduce task delay after it occurs. The project manager must cope with the delay in the early stage of the development project. Existing methods cannot predict delay of a task when no delay occurs at the task. The proposed method can detect what delays of tasks occur in future even if the delays do not occur now. A project manager can cope with the delays that are detected by the method in an early stage.
