Abstract :
The technically advanced radio and telecommunication equipment of today, with sensitive electronic devices, leads to very high demands on environment free from electric disturbance. A well-functioning TN-S system is an important component is to bee free from disturbance. In a TN-C system, with many loads in single-phase connection, unbalanced loads will result in a zero phase-sequence current causes disturbance due to the fact that it will flow back to the neutral point of the transformer via the different N and PE conductors in a way that is impossible to control. In a TN-S system the zero phase-sequence current must flow in the N conductor. This means that the total current in each cable is always zero. For safe and faultless operation, a TN-S system must be provided with monitoring equipment.
