Abstract

Under the renewal program of the Italian telecommunication network and to improve the quality of all telephone network components, SIP (the Italian operating telecommunication company) has issued new specifications for DC power supply and its remote supervision network. Under this program, optics ALCATEL ITALIA together with SIP has developed a new family of DC power supplies ranging from 12 A up to 4000 A, both for centralized and dedicated applications
