Abstract
This paper proposes a fixed frequency controlled forward ZVS-MRC (zero voltage switched-multi-resonant converter) which operates with a fixed duty ratio. It differs from the conventional forward ZVS-MRC by the placement of a saturable core in the secondary side of the transformer. The proposed converter has the following advantages: (1) lower voltage stress, (2) fixed frequency and fixed duty ratio for the main switch, and (3) simple control circuit
