Abstract :
A compact A6 magnetron [1] with permanent magnets was simulated in both FEM and in particle-in-cell, demonstrating a uniform magnetic field that exceeded 0.5 T in the electron interaction space and almost complete elimination of upstream and downstream leakage currents.
