Abstract :
Initial condition of multistage depressed collector (MDC) is the key precondition to study MDC. A method of practically testing initial condition of MDC is proposed and analyzed in this paper. The experiment was performed according to the method. Comparison on experimental data has been made with that calculated from TWT, and the accordant energy distribution in both shows the validity of this method in some extent.
