Abstract
Research on competitive advantages of enterprise is always a focus these days. Fast growth of nonprofit organization noticeably changes competition environments and market conditions of enterprise. Therefore, how enterprise gains competitive advantages by interacting with nonprofit organization will be an issue which deserves our full attention. In this paper, we begin with different motives of cooperation between enterprise and nonprofit organization. By describing the social embeddedness of organization behavior, we set forth the concept and formation of collaborative network. After that, we explain how enterprise gains competitive advantages based on collaborative network. At last, we conclude that competitive advantages of enterprise can increase by acquiring social capital and learning from nonprofit organization. Future research on competitive advantages of enterprise cooperating with nonprofit organization would be strengthened in application network-characteristic analysis.
