  • Abstract
    To establish EM-MWD (Electromagnetic Measurement While Drilling) technology, we analyze the electric field around a drillstring, using a computer simulation based on combined FEM (Finite Element Method) with BEM (Boundary Element Method) developed by us. The verification of this simulation method is shown by an experimental system using a water tank.
