  • Abstract
An increasing amount of converter-connected distributed generators (DG) inject electrical energy in the power grid. On the other hand the increasing amount of non-linear and unbalanced loads put the power grid under increasing stress. Therefore, it is important not only to maximize the power output of the DG´s through Maximum Power Point Tracking, but also to minimize the harmonic voltage and harmonic current distortion of the power system. In this article the interaction between the control system injecting the power in the grid and the control system maximizing the power output of the solar array is examined.
