  • Abstract
The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is used to predict the performances of aperture coupled patch antennas. FDTD has been used in a variety of applications such as electromagnetic scattering and penetration problems. Single patch as well as arrays with finite numbers of patches are analysed. Good agreement is observed with results obtained using the method of moments
