Abstract
The design and modelling of an oscillator for use with a hypothetical patch antenna is investigated. The availability of an accurate model for the MRF136 MOSFET prompted the choice of 280 MHz as a convenient operating frequency. To facilitate time domain measurements, a second oscillator at 100 MHz was designed
