Abstract
In this paper, consensus algorithms are investigated for networks of continuous-time and discrete-time linear multi-agent systems under switching and directed topologies. These algorithms adopt internal model control technology to guarantee that the consensus for all states in each agent is achieved. And the “virtual state” is also employed to solve the consensus problem. Numerical simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results for the consensus for multi-agent systems under switching and directed topologies.
