Abstract :
Grey knowledge is refined from poor information. Grey statistical knowledge, which is a kind of grey knowledge, is introduced. It belongs to the category of classification knowledge. The grey characteristics of grey statistical knowledge and their measure are developed. Based on the principle of difference information entropy, the grey degree of grey statistical knowledge, which quantizes its grey characteristic, is provided. It is pointed out that the bigger (smaller) the grey degree of grey statistical knowledge is, the greater (less) its grey characteristic is, and vice versa. Finally, the example is given.
