Abstract :
Today many large, medium and small companies face complication in instituting a quality improvement programme. In contrast, we can observe that unlike large organizations, small companies find it generally complicated to implement and adjust to quality improvement plans. This is further complex since most software quality models such as capability maturity model and spice primarily addresses the requirements of large organization. Therefore, in order to provide a basis for the development of software quality for small software organization we proposed customized approach to the measurement and for process improvement, which takes into account the explicit limits of the small organizations. To implement software process improvement in smaller setup is very difficult. We suggest a new approach, for software process improvement. This new model is name as MECA model (monitor, evaluate, control, and act). The model provides a continuous monitoring approach for software processes and provides basis to initiate improvement on ongoing patterns. At the end, we implement this approach on the requirement elicitation, quality assurance of software development life cycle, and customer satisfaction process.
