Abstract :
The finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate numerically the relationship between the load and deflection of layered steel fiber reinforced concrete beam bended at three points. The result is very consistent with that of the relevant experiments, which shows that layered steel fiber reinforced concrete beam is not affected significantly in the elastic stage, but the ultimate bearing capacity of concrete beam improves greatly, and the bending failure mode of this concrete beam is different from the plain concrete beam with the property of ductile fracture.
