  • Abstract
    Nowadays, the switch 126kV and above is mainly SF6 gas circuit breakers. However, because of the greenhouse effect of the SF6 gas, its consumption and emission into the atmosphere should be constricted. To replace SF6 switch, many switch manufacturers are researching high voltage vacuum switch in China. I have started Vacuum interrupter for rated voltage of 126kV together with Xi´an Jiaotong University. Vacuum interrupter for rated voltage of 126kV is a new technology in the world,there is has a lot of work to do. In this paper, I will introduce our disquisition of Vacuum interrupter for rated voltage of 126kV. First, Insulation performance of Vacuum interrupter need to be excellent. A new electrode structure was presented. New axial magnetic field electrod have enough strong axial magnetic field with long gap distance. We test for short-circuit current breaking of New axial magnetic field electrod at 60mm of contact stroke. Vacuum interrupter electric-field analysis,magnetic-field analysis, manufacture, type test situation in XIHARI. The results show high voltage vacuum switch is successful.
