Abstract
The paper describes a concept of new polyharmonic power calibrator with error-sampled feedback loop in voltage and current generation paths. Digital polyharmonic signal sources and digital feedback loop were realized by applying the LMS adaptive algorithm. Performance of the calibrator resulting from LMS algorithm was discussed. The main advantages of the LMS polyharmonic calibrator are (i) simplified structure of hardware part, (ii) ability to online correction of errors caused by amplifier nonlinearity and loading, and (iii) relatively small computational complexity.
