Abstract
LOWTRAN 6 has been modified to predict the radiance of the sea. The sea model contains the following contributions: (1) reflected sky radiance, (2) reflected solar radiance, (3) thermal emission, and (4) path radiance. Model predictions agree with data to within approximately 5°C in the infrared long and mid wave bands
