Abstract :
Chevrolet is claiming an industry first with its performance data recorder (PDR) for the 2015 Corvette Stingray, which is shown in Figure 1. It is touted as the first PDR with so much capability to be integrated into a production vehicle [1]. We already had a lot of this technology in the car, observed Harlan Charles, marketing manager for the Corvette. Nobody´s ever had an onboard system with this degree of integration of audio, video, and data with no extra parts from the aftermarket [2].
