Abstract :
We designed and developed 50-passenger class WIG craft WSH-500 based on the sea trial data of Fischer-Flugmechanik´s two-seater test craft Hoverwing 2 VT. WSH-500 is A-type WIG craft which is certified for operation only in ground effect. Its length is 29m and take-off weight is about 17tons. Target cruising speed is 95knots. This paper deals with the results of the development and the sea trial of WSH-500.
