Abstract :
A supersynthesis radiometer is based on the process of the relative phase change of the received signals between two antennas of the interferometer aligned along the orbit of a vehicle. A conceptual design was shown for two-dimensional imaging. Besides the authors developed an experimental supersynthesis radiometer for indoor two-dimensional imaging experiments. They adopted three point noise sources as a target. The resultant images have two-dimensional spatial resolution along track by supersynthesis and across track by multiple antenna interferometry.
