Abstract :
The removal of iron from industrial aluminum sulfate by the extraction system of primary amine N-1923, n-octanol and kerosene was studied. The effects such as pH values, phase ratios O/A, the volume fractions of extractant and modifier, contact time of extraction on extraction yield of iron were investigated. The results show that the extraction yield of iron from industrial aluminum sulfate is 99.99% with the extraction system composed of 25 vol.% N-1923+25 vol.% n-octanol+50 vol.% kerosene when the phase ratio O/A is 1:2, pH>;1.2, the extraction contact is 6 min. The purified products non-iron aluminum sulfate can be obtained.
