Abstract :
The energy sustainable development levels of Western Regions are significant to country´s energy security and social economy´s sustainable development. Using the factor analyze method to assess the energy sustainable development level of 2007, the results shown that the energy sustainable development level existence huge difference in Western Regions, the energy efficiency and the environmental impact are the primary factors decides the energy sustainable development level, the energy sustainable development level is inconsistent with the economic development level, so, enhancement various areas energy efficiency, reducing the environmental pollution by energy use, strength the adjustment of industry restructure and the foreign exchange, established the new energy is the probably way to improve energy sustainable development of Western Regions.
