Abstract
Summary form only given. The diode-laser pumped, CW laser presented is being developed for use as a high-power slave in an injection-locked laser system, for the detection of gravitational waves in long baseline interferometry. It is a very compact Nd:YAG slab laser, based on a crystal geometry developed by Richards and McInnes (1995).
