Abstract
A fiber ring laser with the wavelength tunability and single-longitudinal-mode oscillation based on a C-band erbium-doped waveguide amplifier is proposed and demonstrated. A saturable-absorber-based autotracking filter is utilized to guarantee the single-frequency operation.
