Abstract :
Investigation of electromagnetic characteristics affected by diffraction from a mobile body is important for mobile communications antennas. The spherical near-field measurement is effective for clarifying these characteristics. This paper describes the spherical near-field measurement results (far-field patterns and aperture distribution) of a 16-element phased array antenna operating in the L-band attached to a car body.<>
