Abstract :
The effect of viscosity on the heat and mass transfer of NH3/H2O falling film absorption with Fe2O3 nanofluid is studied. The results show that, the viscosity, influenced by the ingredient of nanofluid, directly influence the performance of absorption. The heat and mass transfer of absorption, is weakened by high viscosity nanofluid of only adding sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS), while, enhanced by lower viscosity nanofluid with appropriate ingredients. The nanofluid with lowest viscosity, prepared by adding 0.2% Fe2O3 and 1.5% SDBS, achieves the optimal performance in mass and heat transfer.
