  • Abstract
    Field emission cathodes using carbon nano-tubes (CNT) are considered for various vacuum devices in the future. We present a TWT for satellite systems and an X-ray device using CNTs cathodes. Both devices have been designed and tested at breadboard level as a first step to demonstrate the benefits resulting from this new cathode.
