Abstract
This paper has as its aim to research the factors affecting the risk preference to female entrepreneurs. Focus on the technological innovation investment process and using sample Chinese companies, the findings shows that risk avoidance decreases with the benefit from mutual supports by family. The regression analysis indicates that the risk preference to female entrepreneurs may be the result of mutual inputs and supports in work-family relationship that spouses are undertaken, an issue treated in a small number of research works so far.
