Abstract :
The paper introduces the basic principles for conceiving and designing strategic documentation in highly context-sensitive ways. The notion of “communicative context” is explored and defined, and concepts such as “miaturization” and “iconization” are transferred to the domain of information design and accurately reformulated. An enhanced model for strategic information seeking and retrieval is illustrated. Accurate interpretation of documents entails a whole set of processes, which are complex and expensive both at a cognitive and at a computational level. Interpretation is based upon a consistent operational model, which is meant both to raise the level of readability and to optimize access for fast and accurate decision making. Enhancing of strategic document textual resolution, based upon context visualization, can be achieved through accurately incorporating context features of different kinds so as to avoid fuzziness and dispersion of relevant information
