Abstract
Experiments have been performed documenting the pressure field using a PSP technique in blunt fin-induced turbulent boundary layer interactions at a freestream Mach number of 1.8. Three blunt fins of different nose diameters have been tested in this study. The PSP measurements were made using the well known Optrod-B1 binary pressure sensitive paint. Excellent agreement of PSP results with conventional static pressure measurements has been observed.
