Abstract :
Non-thermal plasma was measured by optical emission spectroscopy in negative corona discharge with water atomized. Water was injected into the discharge area through the nozzle electrode supplied with negative high voltage. It can be observed that a great of fine water drops formed and distributing in the treatment chamber in the discharge process. Non-thermal plasma was measured under the scan range from 200nm to1000nm. Non-thermal plasma, especially, hydroxyl radicals produced in this device was proved. The effects of the discharge voltage, the flow rate of atomized water on the hydroxyl radicals´ production were studied.
