Abstract
Taking a certain car engine mounting system rubber components as the research object, the nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS was used to analyze it. The basic theory of a hyper-elastic material constitutive was introduced; the method for non-linear FEA (Finite Element Analysis) of rubber components was studied in this paper. The geometric model and finite element model of the engine mounting system rubber components were set up. Meanwhile, the non-linear FEA was carried out. The calculated stress distribution was coincided with the real situations, a reference of fatigue strength analysis for the engine mounting system was provided through the calculated results.
