  • Abstract
Faulty data paths in a communication system are compared in order to identify faulty system elements by a logical intersection process. The probability that a random path contains a specific element is used to obtain the probability of diagnosis in N faulty paths also the mean on N and the associated variance. Various specific architectures are considered, including the n×n grid and the n-cube
