Abstract
A new data transfer protocol, named “Imaging Push”, is described for data transmission between a pair of source and consumer chips in a high-speed data acquisition (DAQ) system for high energy physics experiments. Further, a data collection chip (DCC) is designed as a fundamental building block for the data collection network in the DAQ system
