  • Abstract
This paper presents a straightforward linear model applicable to two-level sigma-delta (ΣΔ) modulators of any order. In this model, the gain of the quantiser is determined from an observation that the modulator´s total output power is constant. Comparisons to non-linear simulations and measurements show this model to be superior to the commonly cited unity gain quantiser model
