Abstract :
Dynamic security region (DSR), which describing the transient stability of power system from the parameter space, has attracted a lot of attentions. However, there are few literatures concerning the impact of generation system model on the DSR. This paper focuses on the impact of generation system model including high order model of generator, excitation system, speed governor, on DSR, based on the extension of DSR theory from the power system with ordinary differential structure to the power system with differential-algebraic equation(DAE). The simulation results investigate impact of generation system, especially exciter magnitude and the governor system to DSR, i.e. DSR with different generation system model.
