  • Abstract
In this paper, a language translation tool between MAST and MODELICA is considered, specifically referring to the question of aeronautical electrical schematics translation, and definition of a criterion for investigation of the obtained results. Starting from the identification of the basic elements of the software, attention is focused on the realization of aparsing tree enriched with semantic functions. The rules for the derivation of the parsing structure, as well as an illustrative example in order to clarify the proposed approach, are discussed at length. Successively, the problem of obtained results validation is addressed, defining a new criterion useful when considering the problem of waveforms comparison between two different simulation environments. Finally, results are shown in order to evidence the effectiveness of the translator tool action, particularly referring to the criterion application results.
