A description is presented of the migration of the GTD-5EAX online telephony software development environment from a centralized to distributed environment. The two perspectives on the migration covered are: the software engineer´s perspective of how the migration affected the design and coding phases and the associated productivity and quality; and the environment support perspective and what was necessary to ensure a smooth transition
