Abstract
The authors study the pattern statistic characteristics. For the solid-state active phased array antenna, the effects of random amplitude and phase errors and elements´ (or T/R modules´) failure on sidelobe level and gain are discussed. As a result, the formulas to estimate sidelobe level and gain drop are derived. Also, the comparison between estimations and simulations are given with a table which shows that good agreement is achieved
