  • Abstract
Berkley, Inc. has developed a new concept for artificial fish habitat. The habitat consists of a marble weight with a group of specially designed polypropylene filaments attached. The filaments float upward from the weight resembling natural aquatic structure. The product is effective in providing cover for larval fish as well as congregating adult fish. In addition, the product is safe, durable and poses no pollution potentials. Due to its ease in placement it is an economical alternative to other types of artificial habitat.
