Abstract :
The PWM technology of multiphase inverter is one of the most important technologies in multiphase drive system. In this paper, a novel space vector PWM with low harmonic and low switching loss for five-phase inverter is proposed by applying the voltage vectors skillfully. Comparing with the traditional space vector PWM (TSVPWM), another two middle vectors is adopted to implement the SVPWM in the proposed method. The output voltage harmonic is decreased therefore, and the switching loss can be reduced also by arranging the vector sequence correctly. The characteristic is analyzed by theoretical analysis, simulation and experiments.
