Abstract
The structure of a nondestructive pulsed magnet system for the FELIX system is described, including the power supply, magnet dewar and helium cryostat, and the preliminary results of the electrical and mechanical analysis of the 60 T magnet system are given; this includes a nonlinear circuit analysis for the two electrically coupled coils, the influence of the skin effect during the short pulse duration, and the elastic-plastic deformation analysis
