Abstract :
The authors presented the magnetic and magnetooptical effects of Ce3+ in a rare earth (RE) orthoferrite structure based on the perovskite formula (RE)FeO3. Magnetooptical behavior was quantified by measuring the Faraday rotation and the magnetic hysteresis loops were measured by using an ADE vibration sample magnetometer.
