Abstract
Solar energy is rich, ideal for the sustainable use of renewable clean energy, solar photovoltaic system utilizes photovoltaic effect of solar cells and transforms the solar radiation directly into electricity generation. In the world most countries focus on such new power generation form. In recent years China has made great progress in using solar energy and photovoltaic technology. The production capacity of crystalline silicon solar cells is in the lead of the world, and research and development of thin film solar cells has reached the international advanced level. This paper analyzes the main technology of photovoltaic generation system, illustrates the development and application of photovoltaic technology in China, and discusses the challenges facing the PV industry and the constraints of photovoltaic technology development and application in China, and then put forward the corresponding improvement measures.
