Abstract

The SWIFT EU 1197 project, which aims at providing a multi-applicative services based on a high bit rate data broadcasting system using the radio FM network is presented. The chosen data broadcasting system using a subcarrier multiplexed with the sound signal for radio FM broadcast is analysed. The technical performances are given. Then three classes of services (professional, public and services for disabled people) which will be fully demonstrated within the project are dealt with
