Abstract
Possibility of the theoretical description of the interaction of the microwave radiation with heterogeneous media is considered in report on example of the dry sandstone. The results of the experimental studies of spectral dependency transmission coefficient within the range of 150-600 GHz are discussed. The effective permittivity model of the heterogeneous media taking into account dissipation of the radiation on structure inhomogeneities of the media is offered.
