Mobile Peer-to-Peer Media and Presence Community

We are researching to complement or even replace existing server based community services by mobile phone based peer-to-peer media sharing and presence community. The system is based on running PAMP, Personal Apache MySQL PHP stack in each smartphone in the community and the desired media and presence data is shared directly from the person´s mobile phone without any need for central server. In this approach sharers create and store the content in their own phone and watchers access the information by directing their mobile or web browsers to the phones of their friends and other person in their network.
