  • Abstract
In order to analyze the influence of filler on viscosity of asphalt mortar, Brookfield viscometer was used to test the viscosity of asphalt mortar, and investigated the effect of filler type and quantity. It is proved form test results that there have about five times among the viscosity of different mortars, and the influence increases with filler quantitypsilas accretion. The mortarpsilas viscosity decreases when testing time extends, and the attenuation ratio shows like concave curve, at the same time, the ratio is smallest when FB is in the range form 1.2 to 1.6. Settling time for mortar viscosity extends with FBpsilas increasing. The difference of construction temperature among different asphalt mortars reach about 30degC. Results indicate that it is necessary to filter filler type according to the character of filler for avoiding the bad effect on mixture performance, and modify the active asphalt construction temperature method adopting the function of filler.
