Abstract :
The paper deals with a three-phase a.c. thermal power comparator and a reference power converter for calibration of three-phase wattmeters and watt-hour meters, based on the above comparator. The comparator developed at the D.I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology (VNIIM), contains only one measurement channel in which a known d.c. power is compared to a three phase power to be measured. An a.c./d.c error of the comparator with any factor PF and asymmetrical three-phase voltage and current system does not exceed 100 ppm.
